RE: Problems Importing/Editing iSeries code in RSE

It is a good question. It is a company "policy" that has been in place
for couple decades; I believe it has something to do with the Operations
Department which is a totally different department in one of our
buildings.

But even if we do not put the source on production, the issue is on the
local workspace as I describe below.

Why keep source at all on your production lpar?  We don't.
