Although WDSC won't run on Unix machines, you can use RSE to connect to remote Unix machines and edit files on those systems. You need to install the RSE server on the systems you want to connect to. The documentation for it is provided in the Help, under "Connecting to Linux, UNIX, Windows, and iSeries servers" -> "Installing Remote System Explorer server components". Hope this helps. You might want to look at Eclipse though ... which WDSC is based on. That runs on *nix quite well. david -- This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
