5.1.2.5 vs 6.0 co-existence and 5.2.1.5 removal -- WDSCI-L

Just received 6.0 and am ready to install. I've read that a few of you have
installed 6.0 and have both versions co-existing on your pc. Has anyone
removed 5.1.2.5 before or after installing 6.0? 
 
I'd like to remove 5.1.2.5 since I can use the extra disk space. Are there
any gotcha's to unistalling 5.1.2.5 after installing 6.0? Or would it be
better to remove 5.1.2.5 and then install 6.0?
