Hi Chris,

Unfortunately there does not appear to be a way to currently do this with
the distributed debugger or the integrated debugger in WDSc. We will
investigate this to see if we can provide something in a future release.

On a side note: if you are using the RSE for your development then you
should look into using the integrated iSeries debugger instead of the
distributed debugger. I think it's much better : )

Thanks.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Getting a command line while in debug?

Don,

I was thinking.....Maybe I didn't clarify how I was calling the dist
debugger. I wasn't calling it directly from within WDSCI. I've just added
an icon on my desktop for the distributed debugger. I setup my CALL on a
5250 session, then start up the debugger and step into it. If this is not
the most logical way to use the debugger please let me know.
Unfortunately, it's the only way I know. I've never tried using the
debugger from within WDSCI.

So, my 5250 session is locked up because I'm calling a program
interactively, but I want to look at the data in a file it has created in
QTEMP. Hope this is more clear.

Gracias
