I've seen cases where WDSC may pop up an RSE login behind the splash
screen, where the splash screen won't go away until the login takes
place, but the login can't take place unless the splash screen allows
the login box to be seen. If this is the case, just add -nosplash to
the "Target" field in the shortcut properties.

Is Javaw.exe still running even if WDSC is not? Try killing Javaw.exe
if it
is and then start WDSC.

I'm having an issue with trying to start WDSC. Version is 5.1.2.5. When
I
try to start the program, the banner will appear, for about two seconds,
disappear, then reappear. From there it just sits there.
Javaw.exe process runs to 99% and pretty much locks up the machine. I've
tried renaming the .config folder. Doesn't help. Any suggestions before
I have to reinstall this thing would be very helpful.
