I've seen cases where WDSC may pop up an RSE login behind the splash screen, where the splash screen won't go away until the login takes place, but the login can't take place unless the splash screen allows the login box to be seen. If this is the case, just add -nosplash to the "Target" field in the shortcut properties. -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mark Walter Sent: Monday, August 15, 2005 3:38 PM To: Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Subject: RE: [WDSCI-L] WDSC Will not start Did that. Try killing Javaw.exe if it is and then start WDSC. Donald R. Fisher, III Project Manager Roomstore Furniture Company (804) 784-7600 extension 2124 DFisher@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <clip> I'm having an issue with trying to start WDSC. Version is 5.1.2.5. When I try to start the program, the banner will appear, for about two seconds, disappear, then reappear. From there it just sits there. Javaw.exe process runs to 99% and pretty much locks up the machine. I've tried renaming the .config folder. Doesn't help. Any suggestions before I have to reinstall this thing would be very helpful. <clip>
