There's a good article on improving performance of Rational AD 6, probably 
similar for SD 6. These are the basis for the new WDSC 6. I think many of these 
suggestions will be good for WDSC 5, as well.

Apropos to this post, the article recommends shutting down RAD daily. One of 
the reasons is, any function you use, once loaded, never leaves memory. And 
there are some stray memory leaks not yet located.
