I'm guessing this one has been beaten to death, but...Quite often when I shut down WDSCI, the next morning I find that its javaw process is still running and I have to kill it in order to get going. I usually have 0 to 1 other java programs running so it's not a big deal to whack them. It's like the days of cars with carburetors when you sometimes had to operate the choke very manually by sticking something inside the carburetor in order to get the car started. (I know, sometimes you could do it from the outside of the carburetor by moving the choke linkage.) I feel better now. <g> ***************************** NOTICE: All e-mail sent to or from this e-mail address will be received or otherwise recorded by The Sharper Image corporate e-mail system and is subject to archival, monitoring, and review by and/or disclosure to Sharper Image security and other management.
