Hi Kirk,

Can you access the following URL in your browser?

http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/iseries/wdsc512/update/site.xml

?

I believe this has come up before on the mailing list and the problem was
related to the proxy servers (or firewalls) at the company blocking or
corrupting the xml file as it was being downloaded. Do you have a proxy
server specified in the preferences dialog?

[WDSCI-L] Problem Updating to WDSCi 5.1.2.5

I'm currently running WDSCi at version 5.1.2.4. I was wanting to load the

5.1.2.5 update. When I select Help -> Software Updates -> New Updates, I
get an "Problem Occurred" window saying:
Unable to access
"
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/iseries/wdsc512/update
".
Error parsing site stream. [The XML stream is not a valid default
"site.xml" file. The root tag is not site.]
Error parsing site stream. [The XML stream is not a valid default
"site.xml" file. The root tag is not site.]

It will not allow me to access the update.

What can I do?
