Problem with Filters

 

I get an error message when I try to create a Member Filter.



The "New Member Filter" wizard works ok when I enter the library, source
file, and member wildcard, then when I press "next" I enter the Filter
name, and check the "Only create filter in this connection" box which,
BASED ON WDSC HELP, ALLOWS ME TO CREATE THE FILTER ONLY FOR THIS
CONNECTION SO IT WOULD NOT BE SEEN ON ANY OTHER CONNECTIONS I HAVE. That
would be pretty good.



However, when I check that box, the "Owner profile" box in shaded so I
cannot select which profile will have this filter and finally when I
press "finish" I get message RSEG1003U "An unexpected exception has
occurred" in a box that also shows the detail for this message which is
a Java "null pointer" exception at line 621 in
com.ibm.etools.systems.filters.ui.dialogs.SystemNewFilterWizard.createNe
wFilter(SystemNewFilterWizard.java:621)



Could anybody help me with this?
