Hi Michael,
You also need *SERVICE special authority for your user profile.
Thanks,

Does anyone know what authority is needed to debug an iSeries program
running under a different profile by setting a service entry point? The
documentation says:
. . . your iSeries connection profile must have:
o Authority to debug the program that will contain the service
entry point.
o *ALLOBJ authority or *USE authority to the user profile of the
specified userid.
I have *CHANGE authority and I even got our security officer to grant me
*OBJMGT authority to the profile, but I keep getting a "Host: CPF0609 Not
allowed to use specified user profile." message.
