Steve,
If you select Verify Connection from the popup on iSeries Objects, it will
check if you are missing some PTFs on your iSeries. Batch commands require
a PTF on the iSeries to be installed.

Which perspective are you using? Are you using the LPEX editor or
CODE/400?
You should be able to find the compile listing in your spooled files. Is
it
not there, either?
