User space size for web subfiles (QdtsAppendSF)

Can anyone tell me how to change the size of the user space that is created, 
and used by the QdtsAppendSF subfile API?  I have an application that I have 
written where I need to increase the size of the user space because the subfile 
(table) is filled up before all the records are written.  At the very least can 
someone point me to a redbook or other publication that covers that?
