Hi Scott, Are you referring to 'wdsc_jvm_update.exe'? I have already downloaded and installed that. I also found a 'wdsc512_fix_5124.zip' which I am downloading as I write this. Is that all? Thanks! A regular auto-save would help but I can't > find anyway to engage... > I agree with you... I've had the same problems with WDSC crashing and causing me to lose a lot of work. Not a whole day's worth -- though even losing a few minutes can be a major problem for me! One of the great things about the iSeries was stability. Moving the editor to the PC means that the stability is gone, and you have to have extra safeguards -- and other editors, Word for example, do have these safeguards. But, I also wanted to say that you can improve the stability of WDSC by updating it. No, I don't mean downloading the updates that go from 5.1.2 to 5.1.2.4. I haven't found those updates to make much difference at all in what I do. However, there are JVM fixes (and possibly other things) on the following site that really make a big difference: http://www-306.ibm.com/software/awdtools/wds400/support/
