Thanks Mike, you were right.

I also found out how to make a hyperlink out of the line in the subfile and
make it submit a value into the option field by changing the Web Settings in
CODE Designer for the display file. That's cool if you can get by with only
one option. I think I'm going to need some way to select all of the options
available with the mouse. I can see how you wouldn't want to change the JSP
files if you can avoid it.

This is cool though.

John.

I think that you will likely find that the sfl html generation is
contained in the sflctl .jsp.

That's what I'm saying. I've found the JSP files for the other record
formats of the display file but there is no JSP for the SFL record format,
only a "DDSGeneratedData.jar" and a "ADRS001S.xml". The name of my
display
file is ADRS001, the SFL record format name is ADRS001S, the SFLCTL record
format name is ADRS001C and there are other record formats as well. There
is a ADRS001C.jsp under the ADRS001C format in my WebFacing Project but no
ADRS001S.jsp under the ADRS001S format.

Yes, that is the best answer so that the changes survive re-conversion. If

you want to find the .jsp for a particular record format you can expand
the DDS reference in the WF perspective then double click on the .jsp for
the record format of interest.

How about in your DDS? WDSC provides Web Settings (in CODE Designer)
that allow you to specify HTML. You might not want to change the
generated .jsp since your DDS and .jsp would be out of sync.
