Hi Mike, Not really... there's even a Redbook that explains how to do it with Tomcat. BTW is Apache failing to start (I don't see any reason why it shouldn't by applying a new WAR), or is Tomcat failing ? If so, which messages ? Kind regards, Paul ----- Oorspronkelijk bericht ----- Van : Mike Cunningham [mailto:MCUNNING@xxxxxxx] Verzonden : woensdag , maart 9, 2005 02:58 PM Aan : KCookson@xxxxxxxxxxxx, wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Onderwerp : RE: [WDSCI-L] WebFacing and IBM HTTP Powered by Apache I think Webfacing requires a Websphere app server >>> KCookson@xxxxxxxxxxxx 3/9/2005 9:16 AM >>> Well, I wasn't able to get a WebFaced application to run in a Java enabled IBM HTTP server (Apache). It runs the snoop JSP and calculator Servlet supplied by IBM fine. It also expands the WAR file and runs a web application I developed myself fine. But when I put a WebFaced WAR file in the webapps directory, the HTTP server won't start up successfully. I set a URL Mount Point, URL path, and Application base directory in the ASF Tomcat Settings. I also tried without these. Neither way worked. Oh well, worth a shot, I guess. Kelly
