Vadim, I have already tried that. It's as if a server job somewhere isn't getting reset and I can't get to it to end it. I haven't tried yet this morning but usually it's fine the next day. At least until I break it again. This behavior only started recently and about the same time I started doing a lot of work on program that use the C file I/O functions to read and write to the IFS. Is it possible that when I terminate a debug job it is leaving something hanging with the IFS or a C function that keeps a debug job running? This should clear up any debug actions on that job... Now, I know this is far from the BEST way of cleaning things up, but give it a try. Vadim.
