Does it work for Cobol sources too ?
It seems to work only for RPG or DDS.

Is there a way to have this function for Cobol colums 73-80 ?

Ron,

I believe that setting column sensitive editing on in the preferences will
solve this problem. I find myself switching it on and off fairly often
depending on what I'm doing at the time.

Click on the drop down menu in RSE, click preferences -> lpex editor parsers
and check column sensitive editing.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Comments On Right Hand Side

I've found that if you do a find/replace on a string (say for instance if
you wanted to replace Old_Tired_Value with New_Value) that it moves the
comments to the left the same number of spaces that it removes based on
the differences in the length. Is it possible to leave those alone? I
know for an Eval statement it works great to keep all the variables and
text neat, but moving the comments seems to be not such a good idea.
Possibly move everything prior to column 81?
