This has happenned to me also. It seems like it occurs when you leave source
open and close WDSCI. Then when you reopen WDSCI the compile option for the
source is gone. Doesn't make much sence but this is what I found.

When I have edited a source, the Compile-button on the task bar (with text
'Compile the current source using the last used compile command', the last
button on the toolbar) is not available, even if I previously did a compile
from the iSeries Table view. I have used the button in the past, but I am
not sure when it stopped functioning. Does anyone have a clue?
