I had this problem when working with projects. The source would change
but was not pushed. When I cleared the cache I received messages asking
if I wanted to update the source members on the ISeries. However, by this
time, I had already abandoned the WDSC source and changed the original
source members. Give clearing the cache a try. BTW. This happened most
when I select a source member from the list that you get when you select
<File> as opposed to navigating directly to the project.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Compile from iSeries Projects Perspective

The workaround is what you've been doing which is to do a "push selected"
on the
members you notice have not been pushed. "Push Selected" is a forced
operation and
will push the member regardless of its change state.

Are you currently showing remote resources or just the local ones? Are
you
seeing any pattern
in what is not being pushed or does it appear entirely random? If you
change and then
compile the same members are the same ones not being pushed? Are you
getting any
conflict warnings during the push part of the operation?

David:

<snip>
The Compile action implicitly does a "push changes" operation prior to
doing the compile. If you haven't changed
the source, it won't push it. If you have changed it since the last
time
it was pushed and its not pushing it then its a bug.
</snip>

Precisely, hence my post. This is a bug. I have noticed this happening
on several occasions.

I have changed source members in the iSeries Projects Perspective, then
selected all modified source members, selected "Compile". Some are
pushed, others are not. The source on the iSeries gets compiled,
whether the latest has been pushed or not...which is a problem.

Suggestions?
