Another update: I uninstalled the product. I renamed the WDSc folder and removed any registry setting I could find regarding Websphere. I installed again and was successful. I do think I missed something because all of my previously defined systems were there when I opened WDSc. Weird! I hope this is useful for someone who might be having the same problem. -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Fasnacht, Mike J Sent: Wednesday, January 26, 2005 5:12 PM To: Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Subject: RE: [WDSCI-L] FW: New install - seeing things like "%searchMenu.label" Update: I also tried with and with out network connections. I also tried DVD and CD-ROM versions. It seems weird that it retains my workspace name from the previous installation. Knowing this, I moved the workspace after an unistall then did an install. It brought up the same workspace location even though it did not exist. That installation tactic failed too. -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Don Yantzi Sent: Wednesday, January 26, 2005 2:03 PM To: Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] FW: New install - seeing things like "%searchMenu.label" Mike, It sounds like the translated strings did not get installed properly. Can you try to uninstall and reinstall.
