Just to clarify, at least on iSeries you have always been able to create 
multiple instance of WAS Express.  I think you can on Windows too.

Also, in the 6.0 release, EJB's are now supported with WAS Express.  I 
suspect that this was so that you can run WAS Portal inside WAS Express, 
since it uses EJB.
