Sarah:

<snip>
I have a new issue related to my custom compile command. When I compile
any ILE source (RPGLE, CLLE, etc) I am able to pass the OPTION(*EVENTF)
and I get the compiler errors back in WDSC. But when I compile a non-ILE
source such as CLP, no event file member is generated. In the case of
CLP, my custom command calls CRTCLPGM which has no EVENTF parm.

How can I get CLP compiler errors in WDSC using my custom command? This
works fine if I do not use my custom command.
</snip?

As odd as this sounds, try specifying OPTION(*SRCDBG). I can't remember
where I saw this, but I believe this will create the event file for you.

Hope that helps,
