In that case, use the filters. But for quickies and stuff I like the table list. However, in order to get a selection of specific members spanning different libraries and source files, I still have to create a filter in the RSE and then right-click--Show in Table and I've got it. Do you agree? I can't just easily subset my member name or assume they're all in the same library to get what I want unfortunately. rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces+b To en_pforsich=bobev Websphere Development Studio Client ans.com@midrange. for iSeries <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> com cc Subject 01/05/2005 09:31 Re: [WDSCI-L] RE: Source member AM locks revisited Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries<wdsci-l@m idrange.com> Ben, As far as the snippet below, I find that to be of little to no use. I used to use those kinds of filters. Had lots of them. Then I noticed that starting WDSC was slower, creating a filter on the fly was time consuming, etc. Now I use iSeries Table View Drop down arrow on the top right of that view Work with... Reminiscent of the following commands: WRKLIBPDM WRKOBJPDM WRKMBRPDM <snip> It's also useful to create a filter to select all members for each source file (like PDM) but I don't use that as much as the project-level view. <endsnip> Rob Berendt -- Group Dekko Services, LLC Dept 01.073 PO Box 2000 Dock 108 6928N 400E Kendallville, IN 46755 http://www.dekko.com -- This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l. -- This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
