WDSC 5.1.2 install problems

had the need to reinstall WDSC 5.1.2 last week. As a result, I've run
into lots of problems. I've reloaded 5 or 6 times now. I've finally
gotten past the point of every time WDSC starts- it would tell me it was
finishing the install). Now I'm past that but, when I try to open a
member through RSE or with CTL,SHIFT,I I get the message "Operation
Failed- File system input or output error" when I press Details, it
shows "Message reported from file system null" 
Any ideas what the problem might be or how to correct it?
