Yes, FRED is dead, and there is no replacement yet :-(
However the WDSc team here in Toronto still wants to hear from you :-) So
we will continuing creating internal feedback items for feature requests
that come up on the mailing list (as we have always done in the past.)

says that FRD is dead. You can get around this screen via some bookmarks.
But it makes me wonder if it's a waste of effort.
Is FITS like DCR only they obfuscate how to do it because they don't
really care to hear from customers?
