Hi Don
Yes, were having trouble connecting to the iSeries. Any of the options
under our connection (Work with Libraries, iSeries Commands, IFS Files,
etc) returns an error message "RSEG1003U - An unexpected exception has

Hi Simon,
Correct, you do not need WAS running on the iSeries in order to use WDSc.
Are you having problems connecting and editing?

Hi Don,
I check all the host servers you mentioned and they were all are up and
running.
Am I correct in thinking we do not need a version Websphere Application
Server running on the V4R5 box to be able to simply edit RPG code within
WDSc??
