Message Controller

Hi:

I want to display validation messages on my Input.jsp such as "Part number not 
found". Therefore I added a label on my Input.jsp. Then, in my web interaction 
on the 
"Map and link the Output parameters to the Output fields" I selected the 
'message 
parameter.

set the Message Controller = true.
Parameter Value = NOPART

But, in the Message id column I cannot see the '*SELECT' option that would 
allow 
me to link the message to my iSeries message file. 

Anybody else experience this???
