I browsed through the tutorial at the link below. I think the IBM tutorial I read was an update of this tutorial. Maybe I'm being dense, but I didn't see where the result JSP page was ever able to display more than one customer at a time in subfile fashion. Relative to the example in the tutorial, I would like to have an input JSP page that accepts two numbers indicating a range of customers (say, customer #100 to customer #102) and a result JSP page that lists the information (say, number, name, and rep number) for all customers in that range. The result JSP would display: CUSTNO CUSTNA REPNO 100 Bill's Heating Co 12345 101 Jill's Electric Co 54321 102 Mike's Plumbing Co 34251 Is this possible with the Web Interaction tool? It sounds close to what you are asking for. It might be a little dated but it does demonstrate a subfile type interaction. http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/enable/site/education/abstracts/rpgweb_abs. html -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kelly Cookson Sent: Friday, November 12, 2004 5:28 PM To: Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Subject: [WDSCI-L] Capabilities of Web Interactions I have read the IBM tutorial "Tutorial: Building an e-business application with RPG" and Jim Mason's tutorial "WDSC - build a web interaction calling RPG". Both tutorials were good. But neither tutorial covered a situation where multiple records are read from a database file and displayed in a JSP (i.e., something similar to a subfile on a green screen). Is it possible with a Web Interaction to read several records from a file and display them in the JSP? Where can I find out more about advanced capabilities and limits of the Web Interaction tool?
