Actually, on a whim, I decided to clear all the log files from the
/home/username/.eclipse/RSE directory. I knew these logs were supposed to be
deleted by WDSCi. Deleting the log files fixed the problem. The iSeries Error
List view is now coming up after compiles.

Thanks,
Kelly

Subject
[WDSCI-L] Problem with iSeries Error List

I have a user who no longer received the iSeries Error List view after
compiles. She is seeing an accumulation of logs in the
/home/username/.eclipse/RSE directory of the IFS. The logs are named
SBM00001.log, SBM00002.log, SBM0003.log and so forth with the number
incrementing with each new log.

There was a bug several versions back that caused the same kind of
problem...no error list and an accumulation of logs. But this bug was
squashed a long time ago, and the user has all the current updates to
5.1.0.2. I just mention the bug as a possible aid in diagnosing this
problem.

What might cause this problem? Anything we can do short of starting a new
workspace to fix it? If we do have to create a new workspace, I might want
to move some configuration files over from her old workspace to restore
preferences and filters. Any configuration files I should definitely avoid
moving from the old workspace to the new workspace?

Thanks!
Kelly
