I came accross this thread which seems to be the same problem I am having, but this is my first foray into the world of Java beans and I don't have any classes setting around to create a connection. Any suggestions? Duane Aaron, I tried to reproduce what you got, and this is what happened: Started the program call wizard, clicked Next (nothing happened), clicked Next again and got the same meaningless screen as you got. Only difference was that I did not get any messages in the console. (BTW: I did not delete any jar references, so the messages might have to do something with the deleting). Just to check that I had the right console and it was working properly (don't completely trust anything, these days) I started the first Java class (with a main and output to the console, of course) I saw. This happened to be BeanExample, which made me connect to the iSeries. OK, console was working properly. Tried program call wizard again and, hey presto!, now I got a meaningful screen! So it looks like you have to have a connection first. Joep Beckeringh NOTICE: This electronic mail transmission may contain confidential information and is intended only for the person(s) named.
