I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but it bears repeating, at least for me. There is an FTP site for various WDSC stuff, including service packs, tutorials, presentations, tools, etc. The link is

<ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com>

Once there, drill down to

/as400/products/ad/wdt400

Then look for the various versions. v4, v5, v51, & v512 are WDSC, anything like vxrx* is the old WDT. Also, you might look at the "Modified date" on files to get an idea of how old they are.

Within each release there will usually be a Fixes folder and an SP folder. The latter has ZIP files that contain everything to get you up to a certain level.

Sometimes there are presentations and tutorials - there's one on the Integrated Debugger, by Inge Weiss, that could be very helpful, I think.

If you go back up the tree to "ad", there are other things, perhaps of varying usefulness. Under VARPG you can find the original (?) persentaion by Farr & Coulthard on Java for RPG Programmers.

So go and enjoy the feast!
