You have to get IBM Support involved. I hope you have Software Maintenance (or Support Line, or whatever they call it) at your shop. Then you can just call in and get help. And it's really good help, from my own experience.

Even if you go to 5.1.2.x, you probably still want IBM to help clean up first, as it seems things are messy. I installed 5.1.0 Advanced, went through all the updates, and am having no problem, other than the bugs. But this is not from bugs, something is messed up.

Good luck

Greetings,

WDSC Version 5.1.0.3, build 20040610_1200. Downloaded the latest fixes for WDSC, and it said it had to do with the code designer. Since those fixes were installed, Code compiles are now broken. When I submit a compile from Code 400, it compiles fairly quickly, then has a 2 to 3 minute status of TIMW on the iSeries. The program that it says is running is EVFCFDBK (based on the function listed in work with active jobs). When it finally sends me a message and ends the job, I get no error report. No errors listed, etc. The command shell has a SbmCodeJob with the compile command listed, but it use to tell me if the compile happened or not.

What is up? What changed? Can I uninstall the fix? How can I get my install to work right again? I'm tired of downloading a "FIX" and get a "BROKE"!!!
