You have to get IBM Support involved. I hope you have Software Maintenance 
(or Support Line, or whatever they call it) at your shop. Then you can just 
call in and get help. And it's really good help, from my own experience.

Even if you go to 5.1.2.x, you probably still want IBM to help clean up 
first, as it seems things are messy. I installed 5.1.0 Advanced, went 
through all the updates, and am having no problem, other than the bugs. But 
this is not from bugs, something is messed up.
