That is essentially what the profile does. By copying my current profile to 
make an HR profile for my Human Resources applications, I created new 
connections for the HR profile. When the HR profile is made active, its 
connections open with the library list I defined for that profile.

The only way we have found to do this is that a new connection needed to be 
created for each filter pool that required a different library list. Change 
the library list through the properties of the connection. Probably not what 
you are looking for.
