Hi Paul, You said that you have installed Microsoft Active Script debugger. Does 'Script Debugger' menu option appears under the View menu in the IE? Can you actually start Microsoft Script Debugger from that menu? Thanks, Vadim. I found the Debug Launch Configurations dialog (I was just using "Debug As" like it stated in the help). Now, when I create a new definition, and select existing browser, it says I have no browsers open for debug (I do have IE's open... but that doesn't seem to be sufficient). Also when I choose launch new explorer, and specify "explorer" (or even my applications URL) as URL it says "Error creating debug target". (but starts a new browser with about:blank as URL). Press 'New' button at the bottom to create a new launch configuration. Now, you will have an option to debug in an already existing IE instance, or enter a URL to launch a new browser. If you would like to debug in an already open IE browser, you should be prompted to select from a list of running IE instances. NOTE: WDSc actually has a built-in browser. I believe that if you run you Web application in that browser, you would not be able to debug JavaScript using debugger from the same WDSc instance. Hence, it is best to run your Web application in an regular IE instance. Hope this helps, Vadim. _______________________________________________ This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
