I tried the DBU plug-in. The plug-in is really a gateway to opening the GUI
version of DBU. The plug-in itself does not have any functionality.

I liked the GUI version of DBU. Our shop just wasn't ready to invest in a
new license fee. At the time I tried it, one free copy of the GUI came with
the licensed iSeries product, and after that you had to pay additional fees.

I did have some trouble with the installation (probably due to a corrupted
download). All our user profiles were deleted. Be sure to back up your
iSeries data before installing the client, regardless of what the
documentation says.

Sorry to get off topic. Just wanted to share my experiences.
