   When this happens to me, it is usually because the file already exists. 
   It would compile if the file was not there, but because the file exists,
   the compiler won't replace it. 

   Could this be your problem?

     Can anyone tell me how to view the error list after compiling with Code
     Designer?  Under 5.0 I would get a separate screen with error
     information after a compile.  Now, under 5.1 I don't get anything.  The
     files don't compile but nothing comes back.  Compiling from RSE the
     error message handling works fine.
