I am working from memory here but I believe this has come across the list before and I think it is fixed in one of the latest versions. When you say you are running 5.1, does that mean 5.1.2.x or 5.1.0.x? And what is your x? I also think you can fix the problem by opening a port on your firewall/VPN that is currently not open. When you are working at home try right-clicking on the iSeries Objects subsystem within RSE and choose Verify Connection. This will report if any of the ports it needs are not open. I suspect that the port that it uses to save source is not open. Mark PS - In searching the archives for this to see if I could find the release it was fixed in, it looks like you and I had the same exchange in early August but you never responded to my reply. Perhaps you never saw it? http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/200408/msg00144.html wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 09/13/2004 11:09:41 AM: > Hi all, > > Has anyone had a problem with source being deleted when attempting to save it > while in WDSCI 5.1?
