I'd say go for it. I just upgraded a couple weeks ago. We do development in CL and C. The CL editor in RSE is a little flaky on prompting, but I'm quite pleased with the new formatting options. And you can always use the CODE editor for CL.

I'm a bit of a worry-wart, I guess. If this is an update, I suggest removing the earlier version with Add-Remove in Windows, after copying your workspace somewhere. But for a new installation, do it.
