The numbering of the client is completely unrelated to that of OS/400 (or i5/OS - whatever). Take a look at the label on your install CDs (or DVD). It will have the version you are installing. If it says 5.1, you are behind. The current version is 5.1.2 - maybe it came with the V5R3 upgrade of i5/OS - check with whoever gets the media and see. Otherwise, someone will need to order the "referesh" for WDSC. Look in the archives for this list - Claus Weiss gave use the FC (feature code) for ordering the refresh.
