Java Editor - hover over errors

I am doing some Java today and am having a problem knowing what my
errors are in the source.  In the past I have been able to hover over an
error in the source or on the far right column and the error would pop
up.  That is no longer happening and I don't know why.  I am not able to
see the errors anywhere else either... I thought all errors should be
relayed to the Task View also but it is not showing up there.

It seems I lost the functionality when I upgraded to 5.1.2

Any suggestions?
