How do I get my connections back?

When I opened WDSCi into my usual workspace this morning, all my connections
were gone. I tried opening new connections, but none of my filters (etc.)
were restored. 

The folder containing my usual workspace is still in the same place on my
C:\ drive as always.  I can even go into the workspace folder and find all
my filter definition files (e.g., filter_FilterName.xmi).  

How do I re-establish my connections in a way that uses the filter
definitions?
