I plan on storing the code in the IFS, so it should be in ASCII format therefore hopefully wouldn't have EBCDIC problems, but I haven't done source storage in the IFS yet so I don't know what I might come up against. Was that a run-on sentence? :-) Aaron Bartell -----Original Message----- From: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, July 07, 2004 10:03 AM To: 'Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries' Subject: RE: [WDSCI-L] CVS for RPG On Wed, 2004-07-07 at 15:35, Joe Pluta wrote: [snip] > Thus, you're only option for running natively on the iSeries as far as > I can tell is to either run a Linux or AIX partition, or else port the > C code. Hi Joe The AIX binaries will run in PASE, but I hit a bunch of either code page or ASCII/EBCDIC issues when I tried using it. I haven't had the time to look into it further. If it works it would be handy for WSAD/WDSC integration. For the time being we're sticking with a Linux server :) Regards, Martin
