Hi Colin, Debugging is a bit cumbersome as it is used in various servlets, but in the mean while I first store request.getRemoteUser() in a variable, and change it to 'test' if it is null. As soon as I have some more time I'm going to look into the WTE security setup based on the tips I got here. Kind regards, Paul ----- Oorspronkelijk bericht ----- Van: colin williams [mailto:colin.williams@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Verzonden: maandag, juni 21, 2004 09:23 PM Aan: 'Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries' Onderwerp: Re: [WDSCI-L] Protected webpages - how ? Paul, you could probably do this by running a http server locally on your PC, and setting up the security there, but I usually do this by setting parameter = request.getRemoteUser(), setting a breakpoint after that line, and changing the variable before refering to it cheers colin.w
