Help ! My WDSCi client crashed again for the umpteenth time, loosing my workbench settings again. I tried the trick of renaming the directory, but I still could not get a RSE perspective open. So, since I was down one level, I thought I would uninstall the version I had and install the newest CD/DVD that had arrived. I ran the uninstall for everything that said IBM except client access; I deleted a folder call C:\WDSC and one called WebSphere Studio in C:\program files\ibm\WebSphere Studio. I have run the install program now for the 3rd time and got the following message: (Jun 4, 2004 2:12:11 PM), Setup.product.install, com.ibm.mby.install.beans.InstallArchiveSet, err, An error occurred and product installation failed. Look at the log file C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere Studio\Site Developer\v5.1\logs\install.log for details. System Stats: Installing WDSCi Version 5.1 (from DVD) on a Dell Inspirion C810 Laptop Windows 2000 SP3 (yeah, I know I need to bring that up too) Intel Rentium III Mobile, 1133mhz 523,736 KB ram I know the ram is a little light, but when I got the computer it was sufficient.
