We are investigating Web Services.  We are currently reading through the
Redpaper 'Enabling Web Services for the IBM eserver iSeries Server' and
trying to work with the example programs.  In the book it tell us to install
the sample programs on the iSeries (which we have done).  Then it says to
start the Socket Server by submitting a job (sbmjob cmd(call
pgm(itsows/main1)).  What does this job do?  Does it remain running and
monitor port 27850?  If it doesn't remain running how can I monitor the
port?
