Hi Mike,

You are right, WDSC 5.1.0.2 does not have JavaServer Faces support yet.
It will be available in 5.1.2 release of the product that is coming out
soon.

Regards,
Vadim.

I went to explore this tutorial. I actually went back to the first
part- "Creating a JSF Web project and page template" but when I get to
figure 4, which shows "add faces base components", I notice that I don't
have this.
I'm running wdsc 5.1.0.2 build id. 20040127_1200.

Am I missing something, or is this not yet available for WDSC?

Mike

Hi John,

Here is a tutorial that shows you how to use WDSC's Page Designer to
develop web interfaces with the latest and greatest web technology,
called JSF:

http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/techjournal/0402_barcia/

Hope this is of help,
Vadim.

All,

Can anyone direct me to a manual or tutorial for the Page Designer
utility provided with WDSC? I've looked through the help system, but I
find it less than helpful as a teaching aid. It seems like it would be
more effective as a reference for someone who already has a basic
foundation in the product.

Regards,

John Taylor
