I think there might be changes coming to this in the next version, but the reason is that in the way the feature was designed, the Build Provider provides ALL of the options, not just the build. I imagine the idea was to let the Build Provider control more about what happens during the process. Just as an example, in the provider we contribute from TurnOver, as members are pushed up to the server, if you have added any new members, we detect that and prompt you to check them out. Likewise, we can automatically prompt you to build dependant objects, such as the LF's and Programs that use a PF. Why is PUSH disabled when there is no command set? I understand the build command, but there are times I would simply like to save the source to the iSeries, and do nothing else. If I have *NONE for the build type, I should still be able to push my changes so they don't get lost with a PC crash, or a brain failure.
