I installed 5.1 over the top of 5.0 with no problems, but I never had 4 on
my machine, so I can't help there.

After you install, go to the Install/Update perspective and search for new
updates.  You will probably have to repeat the cycle of search-and-install
several times.  It might even look like you are installing the same thing
over and over again, but you aren't.  Keep repeating the cycle of
search-and-install until the search uncovers no new updates. (The last or
close to last update runs an install program--just so you won't be
suprised.)

I've just received WDSCI 5.1 and was wondering if there are service packs
that need to be installed after loading it. I'm currently running on 4. Does
it have to be uninstalled first? I'd appreciate any input or suggestions.
