I had this problem:

"When Webfacing an application, I can convert the DDS source code, and start
the project in the WebSphere test server by right-clicking on the project
name and choosing the Run on server... option. The server starts and I get
the hyperlinks in the Web Browser view. When I click on the link to launch
in a new browser window, the browser window opens and the login window pops
up. However, when I enter my username and password, the window closes and
nothing more happens. I'm not using GO in my CL to start the iSeries
application. I have checked my library list in RSE. I have checked to see
the QQFWFSVR and QQFVTSVR jobs running in QSYSWRK. I have checked the
QAUTOVRT system value which is set at 250."

I found this solution:

"The system value QCHRID was set as follows:
 Character ID : 101
 Code page: 37
The Character ID needs to be set to 697. Once I changed that, the Webfacing
worked fine. However, be aware that changing the Character ID to 697 may
cause problems if you deal with foreign languages. You might want to check
with IBM for more details."

Thanks,
Kelly

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Webfacing application

I have a simple (one screen) appliacation web faced. I start the project
and the get my basic index.html page.

Clicking on a link brings up the logon screen. Once I logon, I immediately
return to my index.html page. The project is setup to invoke a CL command
for the index links. This CL command explicitly names both the library and
program to run. I get no messages.

Where do I look to resolve this problem?
