If you go into QShell you should be able to delete or rename it using wildcards. Something like this: cd / mv \\ftp* new-file-name to rename it, or: rm \\ftp* to delete it. Note that the wildcard will match anything else in the same directory that begins with \ftp, so you may have to modify that somewhat. Notice also the doubled backslash: that is to tell the shell that you really mean a backslash character. I'm not totally sure that this works in QShell, but it does in most shells.
